DMG Provider Scorecard: Your Guide to Performance and Growth

Why the Scorecard Matters

At DMG, our mission is to deliver uninterrupted peace of mind to customers through strong, sustainable partnerships with you, our providers. The Provider Scorecard gives you a clear and transparent view of your performance in the areas that matter most: Quality, Speed, and Cost

By giving you clear visibility into your performance, you can identify strengths to leverage and areas to improve. High-performing providers will earn more opportunities within the DMG network, helping you grow your business with us.

What Is the Scorecard?

The Provider Scorecard provides a clear picture of how you're performing across Quality, Speed, and Cost. It highlights your recent jobs, shows where you met or missed expectations, and updates daily, so you always know where you stand.

The goal is to make it easier for you to see what's working, improve quickly, and grow your business with DMG.

What happens if my score is low?

A lower score is simply a starting point and an opportunity to improve. The scorecard shows you exactly where to focus, whether that's Quality, Speed, or Cost. We're committed to supporting you through this transition, and consistent improvements in your recent jobs will be reflected in your score.

What does this mean for my business with DMG?

Having just launched the Provider Scorecard, our primary goal during this period is to help you understand your metrics, gather your feedback, and support you in making any necessary improvements. We're committed to ensuring the scorecard works fairly and provides actionable insights for your business.

How the Scoring System Works

Three Pillars of Performance

Your performance is measured across three areas, so you know exactly where to focus your efforts:

Pillar What It Measures
Quality Delivering defect-free work, completing jobs in one visit, and maintaining accurate records
Speed Arriving on time, completing work efficiently, and submitting invoices promptly
Cost Staying within budget and submitting accurate, complete invoices

Metric Details

Each pillar is made up of specific metrics. The tables below explain what each metric measures, which jobs are included or excluded, and when the metric becomes available for scoring.

Quality Metrics

Metric What It Measures
Defects

How may defects/issues did the job have?

App Check In/Check Out

Was the DMG Pro app used each time check-in and out for each visit?

Completed In One Visit

Was the job completed in 1 visit?

Speed Metrics

Metric What It Measures
On Time Arrival

How early or late you arrived compared to the scheduled time?

Completed in Allocated Time

How quickly did you complete the job compared to the estimated time?

Invoice Submitted Promptly

How soon did you submit the bill after the job is completed?

Cost Metrics

Metric What It Measures
Invoice Less Than NTE

Was your your initial bill amount ove the Not-To-Exceed budget?

Invoice Quality

Did the invoice needed revisions before final approval?

How does routine vs non-routine work apply to these scores?

We have excluded Routine and project work from the calculation of specific criteria, given their expectations. The excluded criteria are:

  • Quality → Completed in One Visit
  • Speed → On-time arrival
  • Speed → Completed in Allocated Time
  • Cost → Invoice less than NTE

Non-routine work will contribute to all metrics.

Recent Work Matters Most

Your most recent jobs carry more weight in your score. This means one or two older mistakes won't hold you back forever. New jobs give you faster feedback and more control over your standing.

Your score uses a rolling 12-month window, with recent weeks weighing more than older ones. Older jobs matter less, and jobs older than 52 weeks drop off entirely.

Daily Updates

Scores refresh automatically every day, so you always see an up-to-date picture of your performance. No more waiting weeks to see how you're doing.

Job-Level Transparency

You can view the specific jobs that contributed to your score, along with the criteria that drove each rating, such as job quality, on-time arrival, and invoice accuracy. This transparency helps you understand exactly what's working and what to improve.

How You Can Improve Your Score

Each pillar has clear drivers. Focusing on these habits consistently will lift your rating:

  • Quality

    • Deliver defect-free work. Avoid callbacks and rework by getting it right on the initial visit.
    • Plan jobs to finish in one visit. Completing work without return trips improves your efficiency score.
    • Always check in and out in the DMG Pro app. This keeps your records clean and ensures accurate tracking.
  • Speed

    • Arrive on time. Punctuality is one of the top drivers of customer satisfaction.
    • Submit invoices promptly, within 1 to 2 days after completing work to expedite your payment.
    • Complete jobs within the allocated time or sooner. Finishing efficiently earns you higher marks.
  • Cost

    • Stay within budget (NTE) limits. Work within the approved amount whenever possible.
    • Submit accurate, complete invoices. Avoiding errors and revisions speeds up approval and prevents disputes.

Minimum Requirements

To receive a score, you need at least 10 completed jobs within the last 12 months. This ensures your score reflects a meaningful sample of your work rather than being skewed by just a few jobs.

If you have fewer than 10 jobs, you won't receive an overall score yet, but you can still see ratings on your individual jobs to help you understand your performance.

Where to View Your Scorecard

Your scorecard is available on the DMG Pro website. From there, you can:

  • See your overall scores across Quality, Speed, and Cost
  • View daily updates to your ratings
  • Drill down to individual jobs to see the performance against the expectations
  • Track your progress over time

What does "N/A" mean on my scorecard?

"N/A" (Not Applicable) means a metric will not be evaluated for that specific job type.

For example, routine maintenance jobs show "N/A" for metrics like "Completed in one visit," "Arrived in time," "Completed in allocated time," and "Invoice less than NTE" because these metrics are only measured for service call jobs. Since the metric doesn't apply to the job type you performed, it will never show a score and won't impact your overall performance rating.

What does "Awaiting" mean on my scorecard?

"Awaiting" means the metric data isn't available yet, but it will be calculated once the job reaches the right stage in its lifecycle.

For non-routine jobs, certain metrics can only be evaluated after specific milestones are completed. For example, "Invoice quality" shows "Awaiting" until the invoice gets approved. Once the job progresses to that stage, the "Awaiting" status will automatically update to show your actual score for that metric.

How can I share feedback about the scores?

You can share feedback using the "Submit Feedback" link from within the Scorecard page on the DMG Pro website. The feedback will be used to make improvements in future iterations.

The Bottom Line

The DMG Provider Scorecard helps you grow your business by showing how you perform in the areas customers value most: Quality, Speed, and Cost. It builds trust, rewards consistency, and makes your performance visible across the DMG network.

A strong score helps you stand out, earn more opportunities, and strengthen your partnership with DMG. We're committed to making this system transparent and fair, so you always know where you stand and how to improve.
