🎥 Completing Routine Snow Jobs in the DMG Pro Technician App

In order to accurately track, manage, and pay you for your services, it is important that your snow crew logs their onsite activity via the DMG Pro technician app.

Who sees snow-related jobs listed in their DMG Pro technician app?

All of the Technician Is, Technician IIs, Foreman, and Admin users in your company are able to see the jobs for which you have a snow agreement within the My Jobs tab of their DMG Pro technician app.

How are jobs listed?

During snow season, all snow removal jobs remain within the list of assigned jobs throughout the length of your snow agreement* (ex., if you have a snow agreement at Property X starting November 1st and ending March 31st, the snow job for Property X will be visible and available for any of your technicians to check into and out of from November 1st - March 31st). This is designed to allow you to easily navigate to and log your onsite activity whenever necessary.

*If you are assigned a non-routine snow job (ex., a job for which you do not have a snow service agreement), the job will typically be available for the anticipated length of the snowstorm/event.

Who needs to check into a job?

At least one technician must check into and out of the job within their DMG Pro technician app to accurately log onsite activity and ensure that your company is paid for the work completed onsite.

Flow of the Snow Job Completion Process

  1. Once you arrive onsite to complete snow-related services, locate the property listed within the My Jobs section of your DMG Pro Technician app and click the dropdown arrow next to the job title.

By default, the app will set the start time for each service to the time by which you checked into the job. Once you have specified the time the service began, click Continue.

  12. Once you click Checkout, your visit details will be logged and sent to DMG to review and verify. The job will still be visible to you within the My Jobs tab of your DMG Pro technician app. Due to the unpredictability of snow season, this is designed to allow you to easily navigate to and log your onsite activity whenever necessary.
