🎥 Applying for & Declining Job Opportunities

How are Job Opportunities Matched to You?

Job opportunities are matched to you through our matching engine based on the information you entered in your company settings (ex., dispatch locations, available technicians, and service lines) to ensure you see the jobs that are most interesting and available to your unique business.

Applying for Job Opportunities in your DMG Pro Control Center

1. To access your list of available job opportunities, click the Opportunities tab from the navigation menu.
   
   
   
2. All of the available job opportunities are listed to the left. Scroll or click through these opportunities to review the high-level details, including customer name, service type, scope of work, and the hourly labor rate and NTE.
   
   
   
3. If interested in applying for the job, click the Apply button. Don't wait to apply for job opportunities - the faster you apply, the better your chances of being awarded the job!
   
   
   
4. Review and complete the application.
   • Assign Technician: During the application process, you will be prompted to assign a specific technician to complete the work. If you are awarded the job opportunity, the job will automatically be assigned to the individual(s) you add here.
     
     Click the "Technician Name" field and a dropdown menu will appear, listing the names of the employees from the “Manage Members” page in your DMG Pro Control Center, as well as the option to "Add New Technician." Either click on the name of an existing employee that you would like the job to be assigned to, or, if your desired technician is not listed, click "Add New Technician" and enter the phone number of the employee. That employee will receive a text from DMG Pro to download the DMG Pro Technician app and set up their account.
     
     
     
   • Schedule Work: If there are multiple dates available listed under “Schedule Work,” you will also be prompted to select the date and time by which your technician would be able to arrive on site.
     
     
     
5. Once you have completed the application and reviewed the details of the job, click the Apply button at the bottom of the page, then click I agree to confirm your application for the job opportunity.
   
   
   
   
6. If a job is assigned to you, it will appear under the “My Jobs” tab of your Jobs page, and will be visible to the technician(s) you assigned to the job in the "My Jobs" tab of their DMG Pro Technician app.
   

Declining Job Opportunities

If uninterested in applying for a certain job opportunity, click Not Interested from the Opportunities page, then select the reason you are declining the opportunity. This information allows us to match you to better-suited opportunities in the future.
